MOON SKI 2020 UPDATE - This was originally scheduled for Saturday the 4th of July, however, looking at the long range forecast it does not look hopeful that we would be able to go ahead with the event on Saturday evening due to weather conditions. To ensure that we can provide the best possible experience, this has been rescheduled to Friday the 3rd of July.
All scheduled times and details will be running as per the original night: •Festivities will begin at 6.30pm, with the lifts spinning between 9pm and 11pm, providing access to main trails only.
•The BBQ option will be provided from 7pm.
•Ticket price includes lift pass for the evening. Please note only the Summit Six chair will be operating.
•Please ensure to bring your own equipment, our Rental service will not be operating.
•Wrist bands for access will be provided upon arrival at Canterbury View.
•If you are already on mountain, you can stay on mountain until the event begins at 6.30pm, but in the interests of safety, you will be required to check in to the Moon Ski event at 4pm at Guest Services. Here we will issue you with your wristband for the evening too!
•For transport options, you can contact Methven Travel or Snowman Shuttles. There is no official transport provided by Mt Hutt Ski Area.
•Please remember that on-mountain payments are now cashless. Only cashless payment methods will be accepted for on-mountain purchases.
We hope you can still join us for our Moon Ski event, however, if you are unable to attend the event due to the date change, please let our Guest Services team know by emailing () and we will be in touch to process your refund. Alternatively, you can visit our Guest Services team on the mountain who will able to process your refund at the counter for you.

The course time is approx.8 July 9am-12noon on day 1, 9 July 9am-2pm on day 2 and 10 July 9am-2pm on day 3, but if this needs to shift earlier/later we are flexible. We will be using the upstairs of Huber’s Hut and getting out on snow
