Team Hutt Under 14 Weekend Holiday Program
The focus is training as one team with individual goals. Preparation through physical, technical and mental skills are the FUN-damentals of ski training and progression to competition.
This program will also introduce tactics, multiple disciplines, race day preparation and process, and sport psychology skills. The skills from previous levels are expanded and adapted in training situations that offer the athlete both fun and challenge. Coaches will bring the focus towards developing not just the skiing and race skills but will begin to make the athlete aware of their potential in fitness and mental aspects affecting their peak performance.
The program includes weekends and 2 weeks in the July School Holidays, and this year it also includes the first week of the October School Holidays. Coaches are available to attend all Interfields, National Points and Youth Cup races held at Mt Hutt only. Excludes race entry fees. Away-races will incur additional costs to cover expenses, and each event will be discussed.
Additional mid-week training is available by arrangement with Program Director at a cost of $125pp/day for Team Hutt members, subject to numbers and availability, however if you wish to train additional midweek days on a regular basis, then please sign up to the U14 Full Program (4 day program).
We encourage all parents to take out their own insurance for unforeseen circumstances. We DO NOT provide refunds for the program. This includes, but not limited to, sickness, injury, weather, mountain closure, pandemic, family issues, or exclusions from the program resulting from breach of our Code of Conduct.
All programs are based on age, but athletes may be grouped based on individual ability and groups may be paired together based on numbers.
* Program Times: The daily scheduled training times are an outline, and may be subject to change based on weather, safety, athlete fatigue, or mountain closure. If the mountain is open, we will endeavour to operate for a minimum of one hour and a maximum of five hours.
